Photo L.A. 2019
PHOTO L.A. a collaborative platform that links the international photography community of world-class artists, photographers, galleries, dealers, and publishers, announces its debut at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA, February 1 - February 3, 2019, with an opening preview on Thursday, January 31, 2019 to benefit Venice Arts.
Participating galleries include: Danziger Gallery, Etherton Gallery, Nino Mier Gallery, Robert Klein Gallery, Monroe Gallery of Photography, Aperture, Peter Fetterman Gallery, The Lapis Press, Nazraeli Press, Richard Moore Photographs, George Lawson Gallery, Lunn LTD, and De Soto Gallery, among many others.
Programming highlights include:
- Underfire: The Untold Story of Pfc Tony Vaccaro (HBO Documentary) Film Screening and Conversation with Tony Vaccaro
- Michael Fried, modernist art critic and art historian in Conversation with Thomas Deman
- Britt Salvesen, Curator, Wallis Annenberg Photography Department, Print and Drawing Department
