Casting: Experimental Arthouse Dance Film
I'm excited to share that I'm casting for my long-awaited Arthouse Dance Film.
Details as follows:
FILM LOGLINE
A woman is reborn after finding strength in her femininity with the support of her "sisterhood."
CASTING REQUIREMENTS / PREP
Please bring a headshot, your resume, and prepare the following dance sequence:
INT. LOFT SPACE - NIGHT
DANCER 1, DANCER 2, DANCER 3 float in an otherwise empty space. Carissa is in a darkened corner behind them. Their light and airy clothes dance against the motion of their movement that starts against SENSUAL MUSIC.
First in a group dance that is more playful than sensual, then pulled apart by the weight of their fabric, the dancers make love to their bodies and allow their beauty to live in the space.
Their giggles fill the room and overwhelm the SENSUAL MUSIC.
Overjoyed by emotion, Dancer 1 falls dramatically to the ground. The noise of the fall awakens Carissa.
INT. LOFT CORNER - DAY
Carissa turns to look at Dancer 1, then the other two dancers. The dancers and Carissa share an intimate moment, but the size of the loft keeps them apart.
