Maestro Dobel Cocktail Preview

* This is a sponsored Post*

A few nights ago Perry Farrell hosted me and a few of other social media influencers to experience a French-food tasting paired with Maestro Dobel Tequila cocktails at Bagatelle Los Angeles

An avid Tequila fan, Perry also happens to be the spokesperson for this brand, that gives him a "cheery buzz."

Our evening was filled with lively conversations, and a delicious four-course dinner created by Chef Robert Liberato, that was paired with four different tequila cocktails using the Silver, Diamanté, Reposado and Anejo expressions.

While all cook tails elevated each dish, my favorite tequila cocktail was the "Facing West" for it's light and refreshing flavor. I imagine it being a great cocktail for holiday parties as well as summer get togethernes.

The recipe is below. Try it out and let me know your thoughts...

To make your own "Facing West" cocktail you will need:

4 Large pieces of Fresh Watermelon

Lime Wheel
Watermelon Triangle
Old Fashioned Glassware
Cocktail Shaker Tin
Straigner

HOW TO MIX THIS COCKTAIL
Build ingredients into a Tin, Shake and Fine Strain into and Old Fashioned Glass filled with Ice.

Garnish with Lime Wheel and Watermelon Triangle.

Parisian Croissants at L'Amande, Beverly Hills

My hubby and I were recently invited to have brunch at L'Amande French Bakery in Beverly Hills.

L'Amande is a cafe, and bakery, that's committed to serving only the freshest food, and makes all of it's pastries, breads, marmalades and even salad dressing in-house using traditional French recipes.

While the pastries and breads are incredibly flavorful, the croissants were exceptional...

L'Amande croissants credit their unique flavor and flakiness to the 72 hours it takes to meticulously hand-make a single croissant using the classic French ingredients: flour, butter and salt.

The bakery's very own laminating machine, which is basically a giant rolling pin, ensures that each croissant has a perfectly consistent and delicate layers.

The bakers then allow the croissants to rest three to four times during this laminating process before baking them. Once baked, L'Amande then adds almonds, fruit jams, custards or glazes to create their flavorful croissants, such as the raspberry almond croissant.

Beyond the croissants, which are worth a visit in themselves, L'Amande has a full menu for both breakfast and brunch.

Following are a few of our favorite dishes...

If you are local to the Westside, L'Amande is a great place to stop by for lunch and dine al fresco, but if you are visiting, I highly recommend that you stop by for breakfast and stay in the 90210 for a little window shopping.
